Leadership Teams
All of the activities and programs you see described on these web pages would not be possible without our leadership teams, which consist of our staff and three boards.
The session (board of elders) of our church consists of the pastor and twelve elders chosen by the congregation. The session is responsible for the mission and government of our church. A major part of this responsibility involves the gathering of the congregation for worship, education, and fellowship, and to lead the congregation in reaching out in ministry to the community and to the world.
Several committees help to accomplish the work of session:

- Worship
The board of deacons of our church consists of twelve persons chosen by the congregation to serve the members and those in need in our community. In addition to visiting shut-in members, the deacons currently assist a local homeless shelter, a food pantry, and several community organizations that help persons in need.
The board of trustees, chosen by the congregation, has the responsibility of caring for the church building and grounds. Building responsibilities include repair, cleaning, maintaining utilities, insurance, and safety-related equipment. Grounds responsibilities include lawn and garden, water drainage, parking lot, and sidewalks. |
