Reaching Out To Latin America
Hearts In Motion is a mission serving the people of Central America and particularly of Guatemala. Service projects include day care centers, feeding centers, training courses for firemen and EMTs, medical interventions, and ongoing construction projects.
We support Hearts In Motion financially and through hands-on activity by some members of our congregation.

 CEDEPCA (Central American Evangelical Center for Pastoral Studies) serves Christian leaders and teachers in Central America. It is located in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
Dennis Smith, a Wheaton College graduate, has as his official title Coordinator of Community Training and Publications, but his activity is much more wide-ranging.

Gordon and Dorothy Gartrell arrived in Salvador, Bahia, in January 2002 to take up the work of planting churches with the Independent Presbyterian Church of Brazil.
Having served in four different regions in Brazil, Gordon and Dorothy have turned their work over to Brazilian leadership. They currently work within an organized church, Dorothy in youth leadership, and Gordon as missions chairperson for the local Presbytery. |
