Listen to today's daily devotion on this video.

I have learned to be content with whatever I have. I know what it is to have little, and I know what it is to have plenty.

Philippians 4:11b-12

How many of us, with trips to the grocery restricted, have put together unusual meals? How many have carefully counted Clorox wipes, cut paper napkins in half, and rationed our stash of sweets? We may, in the past month, have learned to be content with what we have, knowing that many are truly in want, missing masks, gloves, insurance, jobs, and shelter. What lessons this pandemic can teach! What contentment we find in the heart of Jesus Who fills our need for wholeness and for healing.

Let us pray with our CPC sisters and brothers . . .

Give us, we pray, the gift of contentment. Let us count our blessings and not our desires. Help us see the needs of others and work to fill them in the Name of the One Who gave His all for our salvation, holding back nothing. Lord, hear our prayer. Amen.
