VIRTUAL WORSHIP - MARCH 22
Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
On these Sundays where we must worship our loving God apart from one another, we will offer a virtual worship service – an opportunity to share in binding our hearts and minds together. We invite you to engage in a self-guided Order of Worship, where you may join in as you are led by the Spirit to do so, accessing the links we have provided as you wish.
The printed Order of Worship for today, the Fourth Sunday in Lent will soon be available elsewhere on the CPC website, and on the CPC Facebook page. It includes our usual worship elements, as well as links to a video of a children’s sermon by Eric, a video of today’s sermon preached by Pastor Bunny, and hymns / songs we have selected for this Sunday performed by various choirs and artists on YouTube.
We are following the Illinois Governor’s mandate to remain at home. But we answer to a much higher mandate, delivered by Christ Himself: love one another. Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus, and nothing can truly separate us from the love in Christ we have for one another as sisters and brothers.
We miss you terribly, but it is a blessing to us how deeply we cherish our connection to each of you. Thank you for the many, many ways in which you nurture and care for us as we walk this path together.
Let us worship together in spirit on this Lord’s Day. And may God bless and keep us, preserve and protect us, as we, stationary as we are, move further into grace by the power of the Spirit.
Many prayers, much love,
Lolly and Bunny
