Acts 1:8 - You will be my witnesses ... to the ends of the earth.

The Missions team of CPC reminds us that we are to live out Jesus’ admonition to “love one another as I loved you.”  It is loving your neighbor.  Your neighbor is next door, in the next town, the next state and lives on the other side of the globe.  This is our belief and we live that belief out through local missions like PADS and CROP Walk.  Regionally, we support Disaster Relief, and our annual Kentucky Trip.  And globally we support several organizations as well as send groups to serve those in need.

• Local Missions

NEXT Ministries, a Presbyterian Church plant on the near south side of Chicago, headed by Rev. Mike Miller.

• Regional Missions

Integrated Community Ministries (ICM), a community assistance program run by Barb and Hilton Duncan in McCreary County KY, one of the poorest counties in the country..  A mission team from CPC spends a week there each summer building or repairing homes and facilities.

• Global Missions

The Hernandez Family working mainly with Muslims all over Europe, the Middle East, and in America.

Patrick and Heidi Rosendall with Wycliffe Bible Translators, translating God's word into the native languages of Nigeria.

Todd and Maria Luke with the Outreach Foundation, in the Yucatan Peninsula area of Southern Mexico. They support cistern-building projects that store unpolluted water for the extended rainless summer seasons, and provide agricultural consulting for local farmers.
